It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Willena Joyce Donahue of Glasgow, Kentucky, who passed away on January 12, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Thomas Martin and Rowena Lois Spencer Martin; her husband Lance Hendrix Donahue; her son Shannon Donahue; and her sisters, Wanda Martin, Judy Buchanon and Faye Rosado.
She is survived by: her children, Shane Thomas Donahue (Karen) of Austin, KY, Shawn Donahue Oakes (Tim) of Cave City, KY and Shalon Donahue Taylor (Kelly) of Glasgow, KY; her siblings, Tommy Martin of Gallatin, TN, Benny Martin of Normandy, TN, Dorothy Jean Miller (Jerry) of Scottsville, KY and Joann Greenup of Brownsville, KY; and her grandchildren, Jordan Carter (Tiffany), Joel Carter (Keleigh), Griffin Taylor, Greyson Taylor and MaKayla Pedigo (Matt). She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren and 9 nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Goad Funeral Home (215 W Main St, Scottsville, KY 42164). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
