He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Wood and Mary Wood; and his grandson Cameron Wells. He is survived by: his wife Elaine of Glasgow; his children, Emily Flack (Brian) of Georgetown, KY, Amy Wells (William) of Cave City, KY and Alex Wood (Elizabeth) of Glasgow, KY; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Flack, Melody Flack and Ian Wells; and his brother Wayne Wood.
