It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Denton of Glasgow, Kentucky, born in Clinton, Kentucky, who passed away on November 22, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Henry Hancock and Allie Edith Owens Hancock; her daughter Dona Denton Davis; and her siblings, Buddy Hancock, Joyce Hancock Devore and Janice Hancock Matthews.
She is survived by: her husband James Denton; her children, Dana Denton (Joy Settle Denton) of Bowling Green and Dawn Lee Barbour of Tompkinsville; and her grandchildren, Sydney Denton, David Barbour and Daniel Barbour. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
