He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd J. Deckard and Grace Doty Deckard; his brothers-in-law, Bobby Vernon and Bobby Groce; and his pet Whitman.
He is survived by: his wife Ellen Deckard; his daughter Bethany Gaffney (Bobby); his grandchild Harper Grace Gaffney; and his siblings, Donnie Denton (David), Bonnie Vernon, Faye Groce, Shelia Shaw (Billy) and Tony Deckard (Joyce). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home (201 E Washington St, Glasgow, KY 42141).
