He was predeceased by: his parents, James Shelby and Maxine Hurt Garmon; and his brother Jimmy Garmon. He is survived by: his wife Janis Davis Garmon; his sons, TJ Garmon of Owensboro and Wayne Garmon (Ruth Ann) of Glasgow; his brother Jerry Mac Garmon (Peggy Gittings) of Edmonton; his grandchildren, Kristen Lyle, Lindsey Garmon, Haylee Garmon and Nicholas Garmon; his great grandchildren, Khloe Brown and Bella Tyler Lyle; and his nephews, Chase Garmon and Jason Garmon.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the McMurtrey Funeral Home (2232 Summer Shade Rd, Summer Shade, KY 42166).
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Beaumont Cemetery Fund.
