She was predeceased by: her parents, A. C. Houchens and Mary Elizabeth Walden Houchens; her husband Royce Settles; and her children, Bonnie Fields and Royce Clark, Jr..

She is survived by: her daughters, Vickie Runyon (Arthur) of Smiths Grove, Connie Stamper of Glasgow and April Smith of Glasgow. She is also survived by three sisters; 10 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
