She was predeceased by: her parents, Boyd Smith and Gladys Thomerson Smith; her husband Tim Wendell Norman; her siblings, Daphna Ford, Genave Steenbergen, Dorothy Thomas and Charles Bryant Smith; her niece Joy Steenbergen; and her nephew Troy Smith.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kathy Norman Blanton (Jeff) of Glasgow and Jenny Lu Shireman (Chad) of Glasgow; her grandchildren, Benji Shireman, Chloe Shireman and Jessica Page (Kyle); her great grandchildren, Carlee and Emoree Page; and her nieces and nephews, Judy Denton, David Pirtle, Gary Thomas, Kelly Smith, Rebecca Webster and Steve Smith.
