She was predeceased by: her husband Leon Hammer; her parents, Vora Haskel Keen and Hazel Pauline Keen Crawford (Cook); and her brother Steven Keen. She is survived by: her children, Edward Hammer (Gina) of Caneyville, Richard Hammer (Trudy) of Glasgow, Michael Hammer (Karen) of Crestwood and Sheila Strange (Todd) of Glasgow; her grandchildren, Jason Hammer (Traci), Josh Hammer (Adara), Hannah Hammer, David Hammer (Chastity), Sara Jones (Robert), Ashley Hammer, Emily Hammer, Tyler Strange (Mariah), Trevor Strange and Taylor Strange; and her great grandchildren, Wesley Hammer, Elodie Hammer, Knox Hammer, Ridley Hammer, Katherine Jones, Benjamin Jones and Remi Strange.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Bartley & Sons Funeral Home (204 Columbia Ave, Tompkinsville, KY 42167). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 at the Old Mt. Hermon Cemetery.
