She was predeceased by: her parents, James Earl and Sylvia Ellen Gentry Turner; and her sister-in-law Sheena Gearlds. She is survived by: her husband Phillip D. Gearlds; her children, Kristy Sewell (Will) of Smiths Grove, Jennifer Smith (BJ) of Glasgow and Jonathan Gearlds (Bethany) of Glasgow; her grandchildren, Hannah Gearlds, Jayden Sewell, Anslee Gearlds and Myles Smith; her sister Kathy Turner; her brothers-in-law, Ricky Gearlds (Rhonda) of Alvaton, Duane Gearlds (Pam) of Gamaliel, Gene Gearlds (Victoria) of Gamaliel and Gary Gearlds (Tammy) of Smiths Grove; and her mother-in-law Corinia Gearlds. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and special friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Indian Creek Baptist Church (1341 Jack Lloyd Road, Tompkinsville, KY 42167). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery (303 Leslie Ave, Glasgow, KY 42141).
