He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Putnam Wren and Nellie Mae Faulkner Wren; and his siblings, Johnny Wren, Howard Wren, Betty Lawson, Norma Wheeler and Sharon Mitchell.
He is survived by: his wife Martha; his daughters, Kimberly Wren and Carisa Wren; his grandchildren, Aaliyah Wren, Alric Wren Damion Walden and Adrianna Mcanneny; his close friend Melvin Cobb; and his siblings, Darryl Wren, Ronnie Wren, Patsy Nunn and Sheila Wren. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
