It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maxie Garron Shirley of Glasgow, Kentucky, who passed away on November 27, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Shirley and Inis Sexton Shirley; his siblings, Nolan Shirley, Shelby Shirley and Lendell Shirley; and his siblings-in-law, Paulette Shirley, Betty Shirley, Carolyn Shirley, Lisa Adams, Wendy Poynter and Vincent Costello.
He is survived by: his wife Darlene Fields Shirley; his daughter April Smith; his granddaughters, Emma Jessee and Olivia Jessee; and his siblings, Leon Shirley, Rondal Shirley (Darlene), Joe Shirley (Dawn), Loretta Dickson (Danny), Betty Tarry (Larry) and Kathryn Dickson (Darrell). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home (201 E Washington St, Glasgow, KY 42141).
