She was predeceased by: her parents, Mayme Brooks Rush and Ralph Kenton Rush; and her siblings, Patsy Rush, Lena Margaret Dickerson, Pansy Sue Romines, Charles Rush, Talmadge "Tab" Rush and Byron "Buddy" Rush.

She is survived by: her son Jerry M Stephens (Sheila); her grandchildren, Elizabeth Stephens and Spencer Stephens (Jennifer); her great grandchildren, Anson Stephens and Corinne Stephens; her brother Ancel "Butch" Rush; and her siblings-in-law, Jolene Rush, Marine Rush, Suzanne Rush and Wodson Hurt. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
