She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Omer and Nola Dayberry Omer; her husband Roger Dale Gibson; and her siblings, Martha Dean Hutchins and Francis Marion Alvey.
She is survived by: her family Roger; her daughter Kim Gibson Lowe; her grandchild Gibson Lowe; her brother Joseph "Joe" Alvey (Helga); and her siblings-in-law, Danny Gibson (Mariam) of Glasgow and Connie Branstetter (Earlene) of Hardyville, Kentucky. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
