We are sad to announce that on September 26, 2024, Mark Slayton of Glasgow, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Mark shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Mark farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hershel "Rooster" Slayton and Melba Jean Carter Slayton; and his siblings, Bobby Joe Slayton, William Slayton, Jr. and Mattie Anderson.
He is survived by: his daughter Ashley Slayton; and his siblings, Gilbert Slayton (Ann), Willa Vincent (Gary), Bonnie Kerney (Gary) and Fleisa Lutterman. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
