With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of MaKayla Joy Turner of Glasgow, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 21, 2025 at the age of 16. She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Jeaneal Turner, Wallace White and Betty Strode; her great-grandparents, Leon, Adene Daniel, Imogene Walker and Floyd Strode; her stepgreat-grandfather Sammy Walker; her great-grandparents, Lizzie, Allen Vein Rhineheart, Doc and Benny Turner; and her great-uncles and great-aunts, Keith, Anthony Daniel, Harold Strode, Wayne Strode, Jackie Rich, Larry Rhineheart, Edgar, Virgil, Floyd, Carl, Paul, Junior Turner, Tamy Walker and Pearl Hurt.
She is survived by: her parents, Daniel Turner and Monica Turner of Glasgow Kentucky; her sisters, Hannah Turner of Edmonton, Sydney Turner of Glasgow and Kayla Turner; her grandparents, Karen White, David Strode and Denzil Turner; her uncle Nathan Strode (Megan); her niece Kieza Lashae Turner; her nephew Sawyer Leon Allen Turner; and her great-uncles and great-aunts, Timmy Daniel, Mitchell Strode, Joel England, David Rhinehart, Benita Daniel (Bailey), Sheila Botts (Patches), Sonya Ballard (Tim), Penny Daniel, Donna Daniel, Bonnie Rich, Betty Jean Walker and Elizabeth Rhinehart.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home (801 N Race St, Glasgow, KY 42141). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the same location.
