He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Owens and Permelia Bennett Owens; his sisters, Patsy Georgevich and Betty Wren; and his daughter Susan Blust (Doug Blust).
He is survived by: his wife Loretta Owens; his children, Brenda Owens (Mark Pilger), Patricia Owens, Melissa Owens, Tyra Shehan (Phillip) and Derrin Whitehead; and his nephew Skip Stahll. He is also survived by grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 8:00 AM at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home (201 E Washington St, Glasgow, KY 42141). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
