It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmy Smith of Glasgow, Kentucky, who passed away on February 28, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Carl Smith and Bessie Marie Settles Smith; and his siblings, Freddie Smith, Richard Smith, Donnie Ray Smith, Genene Chapman and Bonnie Gale Smith.
He is survived by: his siblings, Ronnie Smith (Sheila), Roger Smith (Jeanette), Victor Smith and Connie Parrett (Glen); his caregivers, Leonard and Brandy Ballard; and his close friend Kay Chapman. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
