Hope Gibbs Young Williams Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hope Gibbs Young Williams of Glasgow, Kentucky, who passed away on November 13, 2024 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Meredith Gibbs and Annie Morrow Gibbs; her husbands, James Clifton Young and Maxie Williams; her siblings, Callie Page (Edward) and John Thomas Gibbs (Nell); her son-in-law Joe Gray; her grandson Joe B. Gray II; and her grandson-in-law Brad Riggs.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Young Wells (Tommy), Rita Young Gray, Donnie Williams Marion (Larry) and Connie Williams McGregor (Eddie); her grandchildren, Dru Wells Dulaney (J. D.), Lauren Wells Cottrell (Tommy), Meridith Bowles Parker, Heather Marion Deckard (Kelly), Max Marion (Brittney), Tracy McGregor Riggs and Megan McGregor Zipf (Philipp); and her friend Virginia Simmons. She is also survived by twenty great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the A. F. Crow and Son Funeral Home (201 E Washington St, Glasgow, KY 42141).
The daughters request, in lieu of sympathy flowers, donations be made in memory of their mother to the Shanti Niketan Hospice Home, 1020 Glenview Drive, Glasgow, KY 42141.
