He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Rooney and June Rooney; his brother Patrick Rooney; and his pets, Tiffany, Willybear and Willow.

He is survived by: his wife Lilly; his daughter Katherine Klein; and his parents-in-law, Ruth and Lawrence Doughty.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be given to.
