It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Geneva Cloyd Goode of Glasgow, Kentucky, born in Cumberland, Kentucky, who passed away on May 19, 2024, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Taylor Cloyd and Flo Gray Cloyd; her son Robert Goode; her siblings, Ray Cloyd, Ralph Cloyd, Roy Cloyd and Mary Coe; and her siblings-in-law, Madie Striegler, Helen Cloyd, Marion Cloyd, Shirley Cloyd and Terry Coe.
She is survived by: her son Gary Goode (Pamela) of Hendersonville, TN; her caregivers, Denise Curtis of Glasgow and Gina Byrd of Glasgow; her daughter-in-law Brenda Goode; her brothers, Paul Cloyd (Betty) of Indiana and Earl Cloyd (Sandy) of Indiana; her half-brother Kelly Cyphers of Illinois; her grandchildren, Chris Goode (Tammy), Brad Goode, Cory Goode (Brittany) of Columbia, KY, Ashley Goode of Glasgow, Geneva Oakes of Glasgow, Ross Brown of Glasgow and Taylor Byrd of Glasgow; and her caregiver Shirley Emmitt. She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren, six great great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
