He is survived by: his wife Almabella; his children, Brian Cotton of Cincinnati, Christopher Cotton of Florence, KY and Jennifer Cotton of Aurora, IN; his sister-in-law Runell Cotton of Glasgow; and his niece Sandy Bitter of Indianapolis. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
