He is survived by: his wife Rita Lawrence Mitchell; his children, Debra Hughes (Jeff) and Scotty Mitchell (Leah); his grandchildren, Tyler Hughes (Catherine), Andrew Hughes (Danielle), Emma Hughes, Kaleb Mitchell and Jagger Mitchell; his great grandchildren, Griffin Hughes, Marleigh Hughes, Hadley Hughes, Jackson Hughes and Madison Hughes; and his brother Mike Mitchell (Lisa). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
