He is survived by: his father Joe Ed (Louisville); his wife Joy; his children, Dave and Heidi Simpson (Bryan) of Bowling Green; his grandchildren, Damon (Mason Simpson), Hallie Jo Simpson and Tate Simpson; and his sisters, Connie Bohannon (Greg) and Linda Wyatt (Billy).
