He was predeceased by: his brother Roger Gibson (Mary); and his parents-in-law, Rollin and Marjorie Dougherty Underwood. He is survived by: his wife Mariam Underwood Gibson; his children, Dr. Adam Gibson (Kelly) of Columbus and Sarah Gibson Zulz (Jeremy) of Glasgow; his grandchildren, Crew, Maeve Gibson of Columbus, Lola and Wren Zulz of Glasgow; and his sister Connie Branstetter (Earlene) of Three Springs. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to the First United Methodist Church or The Shanti Niketan Hospice House in Glasgow.
