He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Jesse "Mutt" Gibson and Marie Jessie Gibson; and his brother Roger Gibson (Mary). He is survived by: his wife Mariam Underwood Gibson; his children, Dr. Adam Gibson (Kelly) of Columbus, OH and Sarah Gibson Zulz (Jeremy) of Glasgow; his grandchildren, Crew, Maeve Gibson, Lola and Wren Zulz; his sister Connie Branstetter (Earlene); and his brother-in-law Rollin D. "Buddy" Underwood (Anne Grant). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
