He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Lee and Mary Hoover McMurtrey; and his sister Glenda. He is survived by: his children, Jeff Sanders (Melinda), Casey Estes, Danya McMurtrey and Lane Deckard (Daniel); his grandchildren, Mikayla, Brantley, Logan, Callie, Carlie, River, Caroline and Cadence; his sister Carolyn Winn; and his nephews, Gary and Steven Winn (Frances Donaldson).
