He is survived by: his wife Eddie June Hale; his sons, Chuck Hale and Chris Hale (Carla); his granddaughters, Courtney Dolbeare (Timmy) and Camryn Hale; his sisters, Brenda Eaton (Larry) and Bonnie Pulliam (David); and his stepmother Lola Jones (James).
