He was predeceased by: his parents, James Edward Green and Lois Gunnell Houchens Green; his wife Ina Elizabeth Green; his son Michael Shane Green; and his brother Leon Green.
He is survived by: his daughter Carlesia Taylor (Jackie); his grandchildren, Mitchell Green (Kayla), Jerred Taylor (Courtney) and Harlee Vance (Casy); his great grandchildren, Case, Nova, Paisleigh, Neva, Sawier and Raelynn; his brother Larry Green (Kaye); his sisters-in-law, Ilene Thomas (Richard), Fannie Carver (Ellis) and Eula Vibbert (Wayne); and his daughter-in-law Stacy Green. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Old Zion Cemetery (9598 Old Bowling Green Rd, Glasgow, KY 42141).
