He was predeceased by: his parents, Sammy N. Gentry and Eddie May Key; and his siblings, Billy Lynn Gentry and Eva Slinker. He is survived by: his children, James Dale Gentery and Sherry Jean Garner; his grandchildren, Ashley Gentry and Gavin Garner (Wanda Gentry); his stepchildren, Tammy (Stevie) and Joe Johnson; his stepgrandchildren, Lee (Alexis), Casey Crain, Kelly (Carrington), Charlie (Coty), Nikki, Krystal and Bly; and his siblings, Randall Gentry of Indiana, Geraldine Jackson of Glasgow, Wanda Miles (Doug) of Glasgow, Johnny Gentry (Betty) of Cave City and Anita Bragg (Larry) of Glasgow. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews.
