With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bobby Joe Turner of Glasgow, Kentucky, who passed away on May 4, 2023 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Wood Turner and Flora Hazel Whitlow Turner; his former wife Glenda Carolyn White Turner; and his sisters, Eva Mae Meadows and Jessie Turner.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Gaye Finn Turner of Glasgow; his children, Tonja Turner Davis (DeWayne Davis), Datha Turner Vaughn (Russ Vaughn) and Bobby "Eddie"; his daughter-in-law Tina Turner of Green County; his stepson Sean Smith of Glasgow; his grandchildren, Jacob, Kayleigh Davis, Andrea, Derek Wilson, "Zoe" Vaughn (Luke Shaffer) of Arizona and Makayla Vaughn; his great grandchildren, Henley Davis and Zack Wilson; his siblings, Denzil Ray Turner of Hart County, Marie Holley of Hart County and Ernestine Llewellyn of Illinois; and his sisters-in-law, Vicky Robbins of Metcalfe County and Lesa "Shelly" Preston of Hodgenville. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Gideon Bible Fund or Hospice of Southern Kentucky which can be made at the funeral home.
