He was predeceased by: his parents, Calvin William Bailey and Susie Mitchell Bailey; and his siblings, Pearl Bailey, Ruth Bailey, Bessie Lanier, Faye Whitaker, Fern Baker and Wayne Bailey.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Esther Bailey; his children, Jeffery Scott Bailey (Nikki) of Lubbock and Suzanne Michelle Lindsey (John); his grandchildren, Allen Lindsey, John Arthur Lindsey, Brian Lindsey, Cordelia Norris (Ethan), MacBrennan Bailey, Chandler Marsh (Matthew) and Lilli Bailey; and his great grandchildren, Zoe Rose Marsh, Annabelle Coykendall, Susannah Coykendall and Remington Coykendall. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Bethel Independent Baptist Church (109 Kentucky St, Glasgow, KY 42141).
