She was predeceased by: her parents, Norris Botts and Opal Botts; and her husband Jimmy Ferrell. She is survived by: her children, Leigh Anne Phelps (Bobby) and Bo Ferrell (Kathy Hall); her grandchildren, Taylor Bunnell (Kyle), Noah Anderson (Gemma), Maggie Phelps, Jackson Ferrell and Ellie Ferrell; her great grandchildren, Harry Bunnell and Patrick Bunnell; her brother Jerry A. Botts (Debbie); and her sister-in-law Alice Glass (Herman). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Ronald McDonald House or Community Medical Care in honor of Betty Sue.
