She was predeceased by: her parents, Scott Milton Furlong and Rena Lawrence Furlong; her husband James Leonard Johnson; her daughter Leona Johnson Smith; her grandsons, Jimmy Gipe and Nathaniel "Nate" Johnson; her great grandchild Henry Hester; and her siblings, Harold Glen Furlong, Travis Furlong (Louise) and Dorothea Stephens (John).
She is survived by: her children, Gerard Johnson (Ruthie) of Murray, KY, Philip Johnson (Teresa Gail) of Glasgow, Mark Johnson (Karen) of Glasgow, Teresa Carol Johnson of Glasgow and Gail Johnson Bunch (Donnie) of Glasgow. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
Alternate expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the First United Methodist Church or to the South Central Kentucky Cultural Center.
