He was predeceased by: his parents, James E. Simmons and Emma Beatrice Barbour Simmons; and his siblings, James Robert, Bill, Kenneth, Roger, Leroy, David Simmons and Emma Lou Pendygraft.
He is survived by: his wife Deborah Simmons; his children, Lindsey Jackson (Wade), Lauren Simmons (Shea) and Ty Simmons (Lauren); his grandchildren, Brady, Carter, Hadley Simmons, Kylee Worley, Ty Jackson and Heidi Jackson; and his siblings, Delmer Simmons, Danny Simmons and Betty Hopkins.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home (201 E Washington St, Glasgow, KY 42141). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Barbour Simmons Cemetery.
