He was predeceased by: his mother Laura May; his wife Ima Jean May; his daughter Tammy May; and his siblings, Junior May, Vernon May, T. J. May, Rella Horton, Irene Davidson, Cathy Wagers and Barbara Ann May.
He is survived by: his children, Benjamin May, Steven May, Brain May, Jerry May, Stacey May (Kristy), Rodney May (Tara), Dean May (Tina) and Joann Smith; and his siblings, Sarah Buchanan (Jeff), Rosie Eversole (Frank), Charles May (Phyllis), Earnest May and Harrison May (Angie). He is also survived by Ten grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
