It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maudie Swafford of Girdler, Kentucky, who passed away on August 7, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Patterson and Lizzie Patterson; and her siblings, Arnold Herbert, Jim Tom, Clifford Patterson and Opal Patterson Owens.
She is survived by: her husband Arlie Swafford; her children, Janet Swafford of Girdler, Kentucky, Sandra Burnette (Tony) of Williamsburg, Kentucky and Latreseia Sullivan (Roberto) of Girdler, Kentucky; her grandchildren, Casey Shelley (Greg) of Williamsburg, Kentucky, Jennifer Grant (Jeff) of Whellersburg, Ohio and Aaron Burnett; and her great grandchildren, Jonathon Singleton, Kayla Shelly, Ryan Zachery and Hannah Partin.
Friends will be received at the Cobb-Hampton Funeral Home on Monday evening from 6:00 until 9:00 p. m. Please remember, during the ongoing pandemic, there will be capacity restrictions and social distancing guidelines that we will need to follow during all our services.
