She was predeceased by: her parents, William Chansler and Susie Godby Chansler; and her siblings, June, Louise Mills, James, Oval, Ray and Lee Chansler.

She is survived by: her sister Shirley R. Wilson of Cannon; and her caregiver Brenda Willis of Williamsburg. She is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, family and friends.
