With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Fred Jackson of Girdler, Kentucky, who passed away on September 15, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Jackson and Sarah Jackson (Thompson); his wife Irene Jackson; his son Stephen Jackson; and his siblings, Tennie Grubb, Kermit Jackson, Don Jackson, Willa Smith, Rufus Jackson, Vernon Jackson, Riley Jackson and Beatrice Bales.
He is survived by: his daughter Lisa Smith (Tolman) of Girdler; his grandchildren, Letecia Knuckles (Josh) of Corbin and Cody Mills of Girdler; his great grandchildren, Emma Messer, Addyson Cox and Ava Kate Cox; his stepgreat-granddaughter Ava Danielle Knuckles; his brother A. W. Jackson (Margie) of Madison; and his sisters-in-law, Ernestine Jackson of Girdler, Carol Jackson of North Vernon and Mae Jackson of Manchester, Kentucky.. He is also survived by many other relatives and dear friends.
