With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Flossie Jean Jones of Girdler, Kentucky, who passed away on December 20, 2024 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Mills and Stella Mills; her husband Leonard Olen Jones; and her siblings, Ronald Lewis, Charlie Mills, Amanda Bachelor and Sarah Mae Mills Fletcher.
She is survived by: her son Dennis Jones (Katina); her grandson Conner Johnson; her sister Hazel Jones; her niece Tammy Deaton (Gary); her nephews, Rodney Mills, Scotty Mills and Alex Jones; her close friend Frances Swafford; her sister-in-law Betty Jones; and her daughter-in-law Katina. She is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hampton-Hutton Funeral Home Chapel. A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at the Hammons Cemetery.
