She was predeceased by: her parents, George Powers and Gladys Powers; her husband W. E. "Bill" Lacey; and her siblings, Etta Sue Powers and Elbert Powers.
She is survived by: her children, Gary McDowell of Paducah, Laura McDowell of Gilbertsville, Cindy Bailey of Possum Trot and Britten McDowell (Michele) of Radcliff, Kentucky.; her grandchildren, Nathan McDowell (Jewel) of Paducah, Kristen Beck (Ryan) of Paducah, Nicholas McDowell (Megan) of Paducah, Lacey Baker (Thomas) of Possum Trot and Maegan Mansfield (Levi) of Paducah; and her siblings, Delbert Powers (Nancy) of Reidland and Patty Maynard of Hoover, Alabama. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Life Celebration Center of Filbeck-Cann (1003 Poplar St, Benton, KY 42025). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
