He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Liggett and Myrtle Alverson Liggett; and his siblings, Merle Liggett, Carl Jr., Margaret Jenkins, Elna Davis and Evelyn Davis.
He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey Liggett (Mary) of Portage, IN, Steven Liggett (Cheryl) of Catlin, IL and Daphne Dexter (Jeff) of Wooster, OH; and his sisters, Marilyn Gehring (Michael) of Galesburg, IL and Linda Ingram (William) of Catlin. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
