He is survived by: his wife Kathy Chipman Short; his children, Renee Stone (David) of Eddyville, Jeremy Short (Kim) of Sharpe and Tim Short (Bethany) of Gilbertsville; his siblings, Dana Perdue (Harold) of Peoria, IL, Linda Whitten of Covington, TN and Tom Short of Covington, TN; his grandchildren, Dustin Ray Stone, Faith Stone, Noah Short, Zoe Short and Laney Hoskins; and his great grandchildren, Parker James Hearod and Kallie Stone. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
