He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Davis and Flora Culp Davis of Benton, Kentucky.; his grandson Maxwell Ray Davis; and his siblings, John Davis, Charles Davis, Charlene Davis Higgins, Marie Davis Hill and June Davis Byrd.
He is survived by: his wife Glenda Cox Davis; his children, Stacey Davis Smith (Jason) of Gilbertsville and Dustin Ray Davis (Carrie) of Gilbertsville; his grandchildren, Davis Lynn Smith, Paxton Ray Davis and Elizabeth McKinley Davis; and his sister Irene English. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
