It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sue Courtney of Ghent, Kentucky, who passed away on January 20, 2023, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Leslie Smitha and Mary Meeks Barr; and her siblings, Sherry Hoopengarner, Edith Gordon, Terry Hoopengarner, Jerry Hoopengarner, Timmy Hoopengarner, Michael "Mike" Hoopengarnar and James L. Smitha.
She is survived by: her daughters, Nicki Beckham (Jason) of Ghent, KY and Lacy Jo Brawner (Matt) of Ghent, KY; her sister Donna Dennis (Pat) of Warsaw, KY; and her grandchildren, Ryan Beckham, Ella Grace Brawner and Trinity Obanion.
