It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda Carol Franklin of Ghent, Kentucky, born in Carrollton, Kentucky, who passed away on June 7, 2022, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hershel H. Smith and Alma Jean Newsome Smith. She is survived by: her husband Jimmy Franklin of Ghent, KY; her children, Shayna Robbins (Aaron) of Worthville, KY, James Franklin of Ghent, KY and Matthew Franklin of Ghent, KY; and her siblings, Judy Ann Smith of Ghent, KY and David Lee Smith of Worthville, KY. She is also survived by six grandchildren.
