He was predeceased by: his sister Sandra Edwards. He is survived by: his wife Joan Doyle Gallagher; his children, Russell Severance, Byrd Severance and Hope Sapp; his stepchildren, Michelle Poe and Mark Cox; his brothers, Don Severance and Billy Severance; and his pets, Bubba, Spanky and Daisy.
