She was predeceased by: her husband Edmond Henry Courtney; and her parents, Claude Christian and Velva "Red" Vance Christian. She is survived by: her sons, Edwin Jody Courtney (Vicky Lynn) of Georgetown, Jefferson Davis Courtney of Midway and John Thomas Courtney (Dena) of Midway; her brother Joe Christian (Rhonda); and her grandchildren, Christopher "Jody" Courtney, Cody Courtney, Brad Mullins, Jacob Mullins, Blake Courtney, Jonathan Courtney, Bennett May, Christy Courtney, Candice Courtney and Jeremy Tolbert. She is also survived by her 15 great-grandchildren.
