She was predeceased by: her parents, James Albert and Mary Bessie Revel (Columbia); and her children, Robert Samuel Martin, James Allen Martin and Bessie Louise Martin.

She is survived by: her daughter Pamela Christan; her stepdaughter Sherry Murphy; her sister Roberta; and her friends, James and Fanny Devers. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.
