Tempa Payne Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tempa Payne (Georgetown, Kentucky), born in Pikeville, Kentucky, who passed away on October 6, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Tempa farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Tempa is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her husband Gary Joe Payne; and her parents, Burton Sanders and Lois Sanders. She is survived by: her children, Audra Marcum (Gerald), Leandra Porter and Gaven Payne; her brother Randall Sanders (Marian); and her grandchildren, Abbi and Savannah Marcum.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
