With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Tammy Rena Cook of Georgetown, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 3, 2025 at the age of 49. As we bid adieu to Tammy Rena's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Tammy Rena has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, David Ronald and Judy Teresa Parsons (Holt); and her grandparents, Jack, Gladys Holt, William David and Goldie Parsons.
She is survived by: her children, Shaina Rene'Cook and Tyler Cook of Georgetown, KY; her siblings, Jennifer Parsons of Kenova, WV and Evan Adkins of Merritts Island, FL; and her friend Shane Cook. She is also survived by friends and neighbors.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Morris Funeral Home Chapel (79 Bridge St, Wayne, WV 25570). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location.
