Sidney Clay Hisel Obituary

We are sad to announce that on September 18, 2023, at the age of 96, Sidney Clay Hisel of Georgetown, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex Chester Hisel and Lucy Katherine Biddle Hisel; his grandparents, Clifton and Millie Atkerison Biddle; and his brothers, Herbert Hisel and Donald Hisel.

He is survived by: his wife Gladys Barnes Hisel; his children, Judy Ann Burkhead (James Omer) of Lancaster, Kenneth Dale Hisel (Patricia) of Georgetown and Garry Dean Hisel (Tamara) of Jasper; and his grandchildren, Brian Burkhead, Tarry Kerkhoff, Devin Hisel, Kristy Jury, Nana Rogers, Jarred Hisel, Chad Hisel, Patrick Hisel and Jerremy Hisel. He is also survived by his 26 great grandchildren, and his 1 great-great grandchild.

The family has requested that in lieu of flowers donations be made to a charity of your choice.
